More than 20 employees of the emergency department are fighting a large fire in a diner in the capital of Kazakhstan. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic.
"Another fire was registered in a catering establishment in Astana. An establishment for dune forests in the Baikonir region. Metropolitan rescuers are working at the scene of the accident, the message says.
According to the ministry, more than 20 personnel and 4 units of special equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire. No casualties were reported.
Later, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the fire was contained. “The preliminary area of the fire is 80 square meters. According to preliminary data, gas cylinders exploded 4-5 times during the extinguishing,”, the press service specifies.
